The client wanted a spa like Luxe bathroom without being overly fussy.
She wanted it to be different but not trendy.
Picking layers of cream toned marbles with varying textures and patterns we began to create an intricate design that still appeared restful to the eye. With a freestanding tub and a curbless shower the space remained open and accessible. One challenge was to take the extremely high ceiling over the vanity and reduce the feel of excessive height. We achieved that by using extra tall mirrors at each sink. They are over 5’ tall. We balanced the formality of the marble by adding vintage look sconces, a chandelier, and beams at the ceiling beams. The leaded glass windows over the tub are the finishing touch for this jewel of a bathroom.
