This charming historic home was built in 1904. The client wanted to take the closed floor plan and create a more floor plan that would allow for better entertaining and flow. We accomplished this by opening up the existing dining room to the living room and creating a larger great room. We then took a bedroom and opened it up to the new great room to allow for a new dining room. The kitchen was next on the list. Though we kept the same layout it was completely remodeled and restyled with a classic white shaker cabinets and soft gray tones in the counter top and tile.
The master bedroom was redesigned to allow for a walk in closet and a small office area. All the cabinetry was chosen with the intention that it needed to be a part of this century old home but also needed to look and function in a current as a new design. Not only we were a part of the design and remodel project but our team also did the interior furnishings as well. We love how it went from a cute cottage to a relaxing sanctuary space.
