Christie was so easy to work with in redesigning our kitchen, baths and laundry room. She was innovative in redesigning spaces while always helping us to translate our dream home into a reality. My experience with Board by Board, Inc. was extraordinary. The final results exceeded my expectations. From my first meeting with Christie Board to the conclusion of the project, I was met with the most professional craftsmen, an enthusiastic and helpful team that went out of their way to answer questions, offer innovative suggestions and alternatives and helped me with the project in ways I never expected. At every turn, I would find unexpected additions and repairs that were made, and when I would question Robert Board, his answer would be that he was taught to leave things better than he found them. I can testify that he did exactly that. My home was built in 1902 and is on the Historical Registry. Robert and Christie worked tirelessly to maintain the integrity and charm of the home, while leaving me with what I feel is a completely brand new and updated feel without compromising the charm of a historical home. During the design phase, Christie Board interviewed me during several meetings to get a feel for what my goals were, and she met every goal right on. The design and décor resulted in more than I could have ever hoped for. Every member of their team was friendly, professional and helpful in every way. The home Robert and Christie Board built for us in Prescott exceeded our expectations in both the quality of construction and the building process itself.  They were demanding of quality work from their subcontractors and Robert was at the site every day during construction.  The result is a home that we are very proud of.

We are writing these comments, looking out the window of the fabulous view of our new home built by Robert and Christie Board.  We just completed the projects and have finally rid ourselves of all of the moving boxes; and we would do it all over again if Robert and Christie were our builders.

Our dream house was complex on paper and even more so complex to be built, But Robert always had a solution for everything.  We could go on and on about all of the wonderful things that transpired, but we will narrow it down to a few:

Robert and Christie spent our money as though it was their own, they watched every penny and if they could find a better deal without sacrificing quality, they did.

Board By Board built our home as though they were building it for themselves.   They made sure the tiniest details were correct.

As home owners having our dream home built by Robert and Christie, there were anxious and emotional times.  Getting a house built is just plain stressful; but in the case of Robert and Christie, Robert was always there will a calm attitude and a solution for some perceived crisis that we no doubt may have blown out of proportion.  Christie was there with ideas and solutions and on one occasion she was literally a shoulder to cry on.

Is building a new house a stressful, expensive and anxious thing to do?  Absolutely!  Would we do it again with Board By Board?  Without a doubt.  But it goes without saying, we won’t need to because they got it right the first time and it exceeded our dreams.
